Analyzing The Movie, Spider-man

The last film that I saw, Spider-Man was a great movie. It was about an 18-year-old boy who got bitten and turned into a webspinning superhero. In the movie, he tried to impress his girl neighbor while saving the city. Spider Time has finally brought to life the comics i read as child.

Tobey maguire is the typical teen in Spider-Man, according to the comic book. He wears specs, hangs with his best buddy, Harry Osborn(James Franco), has a crush on Mary Jane Watson(Kirsten Dust), who lives next door since he’s six. Of course, she doesn’t know that he even exists. Peter gets better when he’s bitten and gains superhuman powers. He can scale walls, shoot webs from his wrists, and even fly. Parker’s Uncle Ben, played by Cliff Robertson, is killed during a carjacking. Parker then creates an alter ego called Spider-Man to use his newly acquired powers against evil in the streets. Peter must pay a heavy cost for being a super hero. As his uncle said, “Withgreat powers comes great responsibility.”

Well, Maguire did it. Despite many critics who criticized the casting of this talented but soft-spoken actor, we still believed he could do it. Spider-Man, after all is a very introspective character, so you’ll need an actor to do him justice. Maguire is a talented actor who can play Spider-Man with ease. He may very well become one Hollywood’s more sexy, but vulnerable men. He was the perfect Spider-man. He and Dunst also seem to have a lot in common.

They are sexually charged and sweet at the same time. Dunst injects a lot of spunk into Mary Jane, who is usually reduced to a helpless role. Dafoe makes the best of Green Goblin’s villainy, but comic book villains have had better villains. My opinion, anyway. The Green Goblin may not be the best comic-book antagonist I have ever seen or read, but I suppose it is effective. Dafoe could have done without his ugly mask, Dafoe’s face alone would be enough. J.K. Simmons (who is just perfect) as Daily Bugle’s editor Jameson and Franco (as Harry Osborn) are also very good in small parts.

It’s not that you feel any pressure, but Spider-Man has a lot of loyal fans who are waiting to be impressed. Sam Raimi does not disappoint. He stays true to the source material. The movie has a great deal of humor, starting with Parker’s discovery that he is a superhero, and ending in the epic battle between Spider-Man versus the Green Goblin.

Peter’s journey to mastering his abilities is an entertaining one. What would you do if you were a teenager who had superhuman abilities? They can be used to impress girls and earn money for a new car. The movie looks great, and it even makes use of slow-motion images that remind you of Matrix. Spider-Man moves pretty quickly. It is not perfect. It’s not what some may expect, a big-budget action film. Several characters spend quiet moments contemplating. The scenes in which Norman Osborn speaks to his evil alter-ego through the mask are a bit silly.

Spider-Man is an entertaining movie. As I said, I did enjoy it when it was released in the cinemas. Spider-Man lovers should rejoice-Spider-Man has a lot of humor, is touching and true-to-form. Tobey McGuire and his team flesh out the comic-book characters in style.
